Shipping Policy

We pack and post every order ourselves from Thane, Maharashtra. This page tells you what that costs, how long it takes, and what happens when it goes wrong.

What shipping costs

• Free delivery on orders of ₹999 and above.
• Flat ₹59 on orders below ₹999, anywhere in India.
• Cash on Delivery is available and carries no extra handling fee.

The rate you see in the cart is the rate you pay. There is no separate packing charge, no fuel surcharge and no charge that appears only at the last step of checkout.

How long it takes

• Handling: 1–2 business days to check, fold and pack the order.
• Transit: 3–7 business days once the parcel leaves us.
• Total: 4–9 business days for most pin codes in India.

Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST are picked up the next working day. We do not dispatch on Sundays or Indian public holidays. Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai addresses usually land at the shorter end of that range; the North East, Ladakh, the Andamans and interior pin codes usually sit past it.

Where we ship from and to

Everything leaves from Thane, Maharashtra and we deliver across India only. We do not ship internationally, and we do not have a counter you can collect from — Megha Novelties is an online-only shop.

Tracking

You get a tracking number by email as soon as the parcel is handed to our courier partners. Tracking can take up to 24 hours to start updating; a number that shows nothing on day one is normal and not a lost parcel.

Address, delays and failed delivery

• Please check the address and phone number before you pay. We can correct an address only before dispatch — write to [email protected] quickly and we will try.
• Couriers attempt delivery up to three times. If nobody is reachable on the phone number given, the parcel comes back to us.
• On a returned-to-origin parcel we refund the item value in full. We do not re-ship it free, because the courier has already been paid for that leg.
• Monsoon flooding, strikes and festival volumes in Maharashtra genuinely delay parcels. When that happens we tell you where your order actually is instead of quoting the standard window back at you.

Damaged or missing on arrival

If the outer packet is torn, wet or open, refuse the delivery if you can, and either way take a video while opening the parcel. Report it to [email protected] within 48 hours. That video is what lets us replace or refund straight away — see our Return & Refund Policy.
